چکیده
ABSTRACT Tensins are a family of focal adhesion proteins consisting four members in mammals (TNS1, TNS2, TNS3 and TNS4). Their multiple domains activities contribute to the molecular linkage between extracellular matrix cytoskeletal networks, as well mediating signal transduction pathways, leading variety physiological processes, including cell proliferation, attachment, migration mechanical sensing cell. required for maintaining normal tissue structures functions, especially kidney heart, muscle regeneration, animals. This Review discusses our current understanding domain functions biological roles tensins cells mice, highlighting their relevance human diseases.

Emerging insights into the biology of metastasis: A review article
Metastasis means the dissemination of the cancer cells from one organ to another which is not directly connected to the primary site. Metastasis has a crucial role in the prognosis of cancer patients. A few theories, different types of cell and several molecular pathways have been proposed to explain the mechanism of metastasis. In this work, the related articles in the limited period of time, ...
متن کاملInsights into the PX (phox-homology) domain and SNX (sorting nexin) protein families: structures, functions and roles in disease.
The mammalian genome encodes 49 proteins that possess a PX (phox-homology) domain, responsible for membrane attachment to organelles of the secretory and endocytic system via binding of phosphoinositide lipids. The PX domain proteins, most of which are classified as SNXs (sorting nexins), constitute an extremely diverse family of molecules that play varied roles in membrane trafficking, cell si...
متن کاملS100A8 and S100A9: New Insights into Their Roles in Malignancy
Recent studies have highlighted key roles played by nonneoplastic host cells of the tumor microenvironment, and by secreted factors from tumor and host cells, in promoting malignancy. In this regard, damage-associated molecular pattern (DAMP) molecules such as S100A8 and S100A9, with well-known functions in inflammation, have been increasingly recognized not only as markers, but also as new can...
